Installing and Configuring DHCP on Windows Server 2012 R2
In this post we are going to install DHCP Server on Server 2012 R2 this is a step by step guide for installing and configuring DHCP on windows server 2012 r2 in Server 2012 adding roles and configuration is different than server 2008 for install DHCP server role follow steps given below.Open server manager click on add role then click next
Click next
Click on next
Select DHCP server role click next
Click next
Click next then click on install then click on close
Click on flag then click on complete DHCP configuration
Click next at first screen then click on commit
Click on close
Go to DHCP right click then click on DHCP manager
Select IPv4 right click on it and select new scope at new scope wizard click next
Type scope name here
Define scope IP address range
If you want to exclude any ip from range given above type that IP address here otherwise leave it default
Set lease duration here
Click on next
Add default gate way IP address here
Click next
On wins click next
Activate this scope click next then finish
You can see your below DHCP server address pool
