You can disable Control panel with the help of Group policy in window 7. If you disable Control panel option then it will not show in start menu and if you try to search in search Box , then it will show restricted.
Follows these step to disable Control panel option.
1. Click on Start button, then type gpedit.msc in search box option. then press Enter.
2. Click on User Configuration in Group Policy editor window, then Click on Administrative Template, then Click on Control panel , then Double-click on Prohibit access to the Control Panel in the Right pane.
3. Click on Enable Radio button to Disable Control Panel, then Click on Apply and Ok.
4. Now Control Panel option has been disabled , if you Click on Start menu then Control panel option will not Display on Start menu .
